Providing an email address is optional!

A valid email address is required to:

• Retrieve your username and password without contacting the site administrator.
• To use the "entry by email" feature of the log.
• To receive email notification planned outages and upgrades.

Your name and email address will not be sold or otherwise shared with any third party. No spam.

Cookies

The Digitial Athletic Log uses a cookie to determine if you are logged in to the athletic log. The cookie is destroyed when you log out. The only piece of information stored in the cookie is the unique ID number used by the athletic log to identify you. This cookie is required for the athletic log to function.

Other Personal Information

The other personal information collected by the log is used as follows:

• IP address and browser type are used to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our web site, and improve the information and services offered.
• Birthday and gender information are used to perform age based estimates of your maximum heart rate
• State and zip code information is used to provide your current weather and a link to your forecast. Only the state and zip code are used to request weather information from a third party. No personally identifiable information is sent.

Who Has Access to Your Information

Unless you have activated some of the "sharing" features of the athletic log, only the site administrator has access to your personal information and your log. The sharing features are NOT active by default. We use this information on an aggregate, anonymous basis, to improve site content. We also may disclose aggregated information to third parties.
